Why do I need window tint?
Tint offers you and your family safety from the sun’s harmful UV rays. It protects the interior from fading, warping and cracking. Tint also deters thieves from seeing the inside of the vehicle.
What is this nano ceramic tint?
Nano ceramic tint is a relatively new product compared to traditional window tint. The main difference is nano ceramic tint offers heat rejection to keep the interior of your vehicle cooler on those hot summer days.
I already have tint on my rear windows in my SUV/Truck?
Yes but it doesn’t have the same protection. It’s just darkened glass from the factory for privacy, it does not provide UV protection or heat rejection.
Does rain affect the new tint?
No. Tint is installed inside the vehicle so rain has no impact on the film even if you have the window cracked open.
What is the average length that window tint lasts on car windows?
We use XPEL quality window tinting film and should last 10+ years with proper maintenance. Our automotive window tinting films come with limited lifetime warranty.
What percent is a typical factory window tint?
The typical visual light transmission (VLT) of factory glass is 15-25%.
Can I tint my front windows?
Front window tint is illegal in BC but we do carry optically clear film for the front windows which will provide UV protection and heat rejection.

How long should I wait to roll my windows down and up?
Yes. Rolling your windows down prematurely can harm the window tint. While four days is usually long enough to wait, you might want to wait a week to be on the safe side.
Is it normal to have bubbles in my window after they are tinted?
Bubbles and haze in the window tints are normal for a few hours after installation. If the bubbles and/or haze remain after a week or two, please contact us immediately.
What is the best way to clean tinted car windows?
We recommend using our XPEL anti-static window cleaner sold instore.
What should I do to help maintain my car’s tint?
Monitor your tint for imperfections. Vertical streaks could mean that your window is rubbing when you put it up and down. This will quickly wear out the window tint.
Avoid abrasive cleaners and use soft cloths when cleaning
Notify us if you see bubbles, and creases forming.
Can I wash my car after a tint job?
Yes. Tint is installed inside the vehicle so washing the vehicle has no impact on the film if the windows are closed.
