Paint protection film (PPF) is a clear urethane film that takes the rock chips, scratches and road grime so your paint doesn’t have to. At our Vancouver shop on E 5th Ave, we install XPEL paint protection film on everything from daily-driven SUVs to weekend cars, and every XPEL PPF install is backed by a 10-year XPEL warranty. What are the benefits of PPF?
Highway gravel on the Upper Levels, construction grit downtown, months of rain and road film: Vancouver driving is hard on paint. XPEL film absorbs chips and light scratches. Our Vancouver shop at 37 E 5th Ave is open Mon–Fri 9:00–5:30, and our Langley shop at 6286 203 St Unit A115 is open Mon–Sat 9:00–5:30. Your car stays indoors at both our shops while we work. Monster Auto Lab has been in business since 2019.

FAQ – Paint Protection Film
How much does PPF cost in Vancouver?
Our published starting prices are $950 plus tax for the Partial Front End, $1,650 plus tax for the Full Front End, $2,100 plus tax for the Full Front Track and $4,500 plus tax for Full Vehicle. Larger vehicles, extra panels and add-ons change the price, so send us your year, make and model for an exact quote.
How long does PPF last, and what does the warranty cover?
XPEL’s gloss, Stealth and Ultimate Fusion films carry a 10-year XPEL limited warranty against defects like yellowing, cracking, blistering and delaminating. It can transfer to a new owner who sends XPEL proof of the original install date. Ultimate Fusion needs a yearly inspection, and a transfer covers the remaining term. The Colour PPF warranty doesn’t transfer.
Should I get PPF or ceramic coating, or both?
PPF is a physical film that absorbs rock chips and scratches. Ceramic coating adds gloss and makes washing easier, but it won’t stop a chip. Many owners put PPF on the front or the whole car and ceramic on top. XPEL Ultimate Fusion combines both in one install.
Where are your shops, and when are you open? Do you serve Surrey?
37 E 5th Ave, Vancouver, Mon–Fri 9:00–5:30, 778-902-5769. Driving from Surrey? Our Langley shop at 6286 203 St Unit A115 is closer and open Saturdays (Mon–Sat 9:00–5:30, 604-757-5769).
Which coverage should I choose?
City driving: a front package covers the areas that take the most chips. Lots of highway: Full Front Track adds the partial roof, A pillars and rocker panels. Full Vehicle covers all painted surfaces and the headlights.
How long will my car be at the shop?
Front-end coverage takes about 2 days, and full-vehicle coverage takes about 5 days. We’ll confirm the timing for your vehicle when we quote.
How do I care for PPF after it's installed?
Wait 48 hours before the first wash, then hand wash. Skip automatic car washes, and keep a pressure washer at least 3 feet from film edges.
